For those who can not buy Jiayu G4, because it is never available in stock, a good option for those without patience is to buy the brand new beige G3S Jiayu: the quad-core version of the famous G3.
On the outside exactly equal to the G3, Although inside we have a Quad-core CPU. Best of all is that the price is pretty much the same, making the purchase of beige G3S worth much more to. Below the two phones side by side. Needless to say which is which, the two are exactly the same.
But the difference is not only in the number of CPU colors. The Android version is the beige G3S 4.2.1, IE, more updated to Android 4.0.4 G3 version. Sad thing is I can't find a reliable source to make the update of my G3 to version 4.2.1. The Jiayu could launch on your own site a Android update for old G3.
Another thing different is the type of “Board”, IE, It seems that there are some hardware modifications that will make, for sure, the ROM (firmware) the beige G3S to be incompatible with the G3.
Below the difference in version of Android on the screen “about phone”.
The number of colors also does not seem to be the only difference in CPU. The maximum frequency also changed to 1.2 GHz, which means that the phone would be 20% even if it was just faster dual core as the G3. The people of the community had already warned that it was possible to overclock on G3 to 1.2 GHz. I wonder if that's what the manufacturer did?
With the changes of the AnTuTu CPU reaches amazing 12716, IE, better than most tablets, and almost as good as the Samsung S3. Finally the cheap phones Chinese reached the performance of Samsung. It's about time!
The comparison between the two AnTuTu, the G3 (to the left) and the beige G3S (to the right), clearly shows that the difference is almost twice more 20%, as the clock of the G3 is 1 GHz and 1.2 GHz is beige G3S.
If the Jiayu beige G3S were far more expensive than traditional G3 I would say it's not worth. However, the price difference is less than 20 U.S. dollars, IE, just for being a quad-core processor and Android more updated I would say worth the price. I even buy this G3, but I'd rather spend a little more and buy a phone with larger screen as the G4 (When they finally arrive in stock) or the UMI X 2. Anyone want to buy I leave the links down there:

I bought the beige G3s and have no regrets, never had a problem, optimal resolution, battery fairly hard(2 days with wifi on), camera has a good quality, touch very sensitive, I haven't found a game that do not rotate.. and all this for 200 dollars, I don't really regret it..

Nor I regretted having bought my G3. A great phone…
This cel has tds characteristics of being a best seller, but like any self-respecting Chinese at the end of the day he gives a serious blunder that don't fool looks stronger… The frequency of 3 g it is only 2100 MHz which means that it does not upload on 3 g (that would require him to have the band 1900 MHz for uploading) and does not work 3 g him in various cities of Minas Gerais by Alive and not in several cities in the southern region for the course (because it would require the support of frequencies 850/900 MHz for upload and download respectively). Gets the warning.
Leandro, the Jiayu G3 only supports WCDMA 2100 MHz upload as much in for download. I have a G3 and sending pictures to Facebook real quick, which would be impossible on 2 g.
The 1900 MHz 3 g is not the band of 2100 MHz upload, but a range of download/upload 3 g is used in the u.s., for example:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UMTS_frequency_bands
E71-1 (European version): 900 and 2100 MHz
E71-2 (version for the u.s.): 850 and 1900 MHz
E71-3 (Brazilian version): 850 and 2100 MHz
In Brazil using 3 g on 850 (only a few operators and in just a few cities) and 2100 (large majority). So upload as download follow in the 850 or 2100 MHz, as far as I know:
Of course: 850 or 2100 MHz, According to region.
TIM: 2100 MHz; 850 MHz in MG, PR and DF (in migration process)
Alive: 2100 MHz
Hi: 2100 MHz
The G3 doesn't really support the 850 MHz band. This can be a problem in some cities for some operators. But if the 3 g is on 2100 MHz band, both upload and download will be fast.
I found very interesting the proposal to test but I think it has mt thing missing to be a full review… Not talking about duration of battery, quality of material, touch sensitivity, camera quality, etc
but I love the site
I haven't done a full review because I don't have the phone. Or should I buy it. If you are interested in buying do a review here on the site!
Yes I thought you had the cel, but I became interested in mt Yes for him but I've bought so much futility of china that I'm afraid to spend 400 dilmas and regret.. But like I said I really like the site and already have some products to make review and send. The first will be a led tv 32 inch phillips I bought at the American promotion by 799. Vlw

Adriano you know the needroom:.;.. fully trusted the roms posted there… My G3 wheel 0 4.1 the Jolufa… 1.3 perfect… Hugs …http://www.needrom.com/phone-roms/jiayu/g3/
Cool, I didn't know not. Even so, the ROM is not original. Several manufacturers launch original versions of their Firmwares. Does not seem to be the case of Jiayu.
Cool. Thanks for the link. Apparently there is a version 4.1.2 officer. Pity that the official sites of jiayu are so bad that clear where and how is the firmware.
POW you know any tutorial to install this room? My G3 's with bad reception of gsm signal, Hey almost impossible to do / receive links. I really wanted to change room, but I don't know how to do.
Got a tutorial in https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yuXdOjXQwGo. But I've never done this process.
