Digital tester for batteries

This product is very handy for those who have a lot of common rechargeable batteries. It is a practical and meter without the need for external power supply.

When I bought a little discouraged to see a spelling error on the first direct Word hard: It is “pyatical”! But it's a good product!

To measure ~ 1.2 1.5 V batteries just pull the top cover and fit between the metallic contacts. The display will show the voltage. In a non-rechargeable battery is expected somewhere around 1.5 V to 1.6 V when new.

This is the bottom contact. The battery is between this contact and what is connected to the lid lifting bar.

Below is an example of a AAA battery being measured. A voltage of about 1.4 ~ 1.5 V is expected to a rechargeable battery with 100% of load.

A drawback is that you cannot measure those huge batteries 18650. Simply do not enter the meter. You can measure the 14500 without problems.

Example now of a AA battery well used, result only 0.94 V.

9-volt batteries can be measured in meter side contacts. This one was already, is with only 3V!

Below so we have the batteries used in this text. Only the biggest, to 18650, cannot be measured. However, If you use a piece of string can adapt the 9V battery meter to measure this battery.

This is a product that I use constantly when I save and I can't remember which batteries are new and the used. Much easier and practical to use the multimeter. I leave the link to the DealExtreme, where the product was purchased. Also I leave a link to the interesting analog version of this product:
