I bought this cheap fan of Venti-Delta already with the idea of adapting it to use a universal remote control receiver I bought in China. The interesting thing is that with this change there is no need to have a special remote control for fan, because the Chinese receiver learns the code of any remote control you have at home.
But let's first talk about the fan. This below is the box:
Be worth have noticed that the fan is only “(B)” on the efficiency of Inmetro. It really isn't very good, especially when you're not at the most.
This below is the fan already installed. I ended up forgetting to take pictures of the pieces before mounting the fan, but it is worth mentioning that the chandelier is not the original plastic that came in the box. I adapted a glass chandelier that I had here at home and it was perfect.
The fan is so cute, Although no fan as well as the another of the Arno I recently bought. It also heats up a bit when it gets long connected, which ends up leaving the warmer environment.
Detail to the support system of shovels, that must be assembled carefully. Be careful not to bend the gains or the fan will rock like hell.
Now let's go to the modification I made to accept the universal receiver remote control that I bought in China. The receiver will be at the top of the fan interrupting the neutral, in the case of this equipment is the white wire. There was no need to spend an extra phase wire up the fan, to feed the remote control receiver. Below is the circuit that follow (the fan and polishing are the square dashed):
There is the adaptation. As the remote control receiver is originally an outlet type Benjamin. I opened it and welded three wires that were connected to a bar Sindal.
Check that the remote control receiver is connected to the three wires to know: the phase (Yellow), the next network neutral (White) and the neutral to fan (White also). These white wires are the original neutral fan that was cut for connecting the remote control receiver.
If it was a little convoluted to understand, Watch the explanatory video:
In my opinion, the biggest problem most fans today is the excessive focus on energy efficiency. My grandmother has 2 fans of the brand Venti-delta (using the old engine): one of them with the blades and the new with narrow blades. The second is a little stronger (Oddly enough), but it's noisy here *****. Not to mention that most ceiling fans sold today have durability underwhelming….
